Mr. Abu has served as CEO of Delek Drilling since 2011, and as CEO of Avner 2016-2017. He served as Trade and Regulation Manager of Delek and Avner, and as a Senior Professional Adviser to the Minister of Finance.
Mr. Abu was a partner in the development of the Tamar Field and in promoting development of all other discoveries. On behalf of the gas partnerships, he led the negotiations for the sale of natural gas to the domestic market and the regional agreements.
Mr. Abu holds an LLB from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and undertook LLM studies in the joint program of the Hebrew University and Georgetown University Law Center.
Mr. Gvura is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with extensive experience in finance management and activity in capital markets.
Since joining Delek in 2007, Mr. Gvura has focused on the strategic management of the Partnerships’ financial affairs.
After a period as an audit manager with one of the five leading CPA firms in Israel, Mr. Gvura was appointed as Comptroller at the investment arm of Bank Hapoalim.
Mr. Gvura holds a BA in economics and accounting and an LLM from Bar-Ilan University.
Mr. Friedman has accrued many years of experience in international M&As, business development, finance and strategy, and in managing teams and organizations.
He had served as VP Strategy at Avner Oil Exploration.
Mr. Friedman specialized in projects in the various fields of energy: electricity, renewable energies and natural gas, and worked as an attorney with law firm Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP.
Mr. Friedman holds an LLB from Tel Aviv University.
Dr. Zvi (Kul) Karcz
Dr. Karcz took his first steps in the industry with ExxonMobil as a geologist in the Corporate Strategic Research Division.
Today he is entrusted on behalf of the Partnerships with the discovery, development and recovery of reservoirs.
Dr. Karcz teaches geology of oil and gas as part of the master’s programs at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and at Ben-Gurion University. He also teaches in the Continuing Education Unit at the Technion.
Dr. Karcz holds both a BSc and an MSc in geology from the Hebrew, and a PhD in geology and geophysics from Columbia University in the City of New York.
Mr. Perry served as the political commentator of the Channel 10 news program and as presenter of the News 10 political program. He was also a regular writer and contributor to “Globes,” the financial online and print newspaper, and Liberal magazine. He began his professional career at the army radio station, where he served as a political correspondent.
In 2015 he retired from the profession of journalism and joined the gas partnerships Delek Drilling, in the role of Manager of External Relations and Communications.
Mr. Altschuler has been involved in the technical and engineering aspects of, among others, the Tamar Project, the Compressors Project at Ashdod Terminal, development of the Leviathan FPSO (floating production, storage and offloading) unit, and the Aphrodite field in Cyprus.
Mr. Altschuler holds a BSc in chemical engineering from the Technion – the Israel Institute of Technology.
Guil Bashan has served as Principal Analyst and Director of Investor Relations at Delek Drilling since June 2016, following his term as Principal Analyst of the Delek Group.
Guil has extensive experience in financial markets, market analysis, valuation of companies, business analysis, and so on. He has previously served as a senior analyst in the capital market.
Guil holds a BA in Economics and Business Administration, and an MA in Philosophy from Tel Aviv University. He is also certified by the Israel Securities Authority as an investment advisor and portfolio manager.
Sari Singer Kaufman
As part of her role, Ms. Singer Kaufman provides legal advice and company secretary to the Partnerships on their daily operations.
Ms. Singer Kaufman has an LLB (cum laude) from Tel Aviv University (2006) and has been a member of the Israel Bar since 2007.
Mr. Edward has worked in the oil and gas industry since 2005
He previously worked as Finance Manager at Cohen Development and Industrial Buildings (of the Delek Group).
Mr. Edward has a BA in business administration with a major in accounting from the College of Management, and has been a Certified Public Accountant since 2011.
Saar serves as the Partnership’s trade manager, and is responsible for the Partnership’s engagements with its customers, including the conduct of negotiations, current operation of the various agreements, and management of its commercial relationships.
Saar has vast experience in negotiations, agreements and engagements etc. He has previously served as general counsel of several large public companies, including in the energy sector.
Saar holds an LL.B. from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where he has also undertaken Business administration studies.
